The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has announced that it has decided to cancel the authorisation bearing reference number MGA/B2C/533/2018 issued to Goldwin Limited, effective as of 13th March 2025.

The move follows the company’s earlier suspension in October 2024.

At the time, the MGA said it considers Goldwin Ltd’s actions to “represent an imminent threat of serious prejudice to the interest of players.”

Following the decision, Goldwin has been directed to notify all players of the cancellation and declare the cancellation on its website/s for a period of 30 days.

It must also refer players who wish to withdraw any player funds to the MGA’s ticketing system.

Goldwin must also settle all outstanding fees that are due to the MGA, and remove any reference to the Authority and the authorisation from its website.

This decision is subject to appeal.
