The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) invites iGaming stakeholders to the association on Tuesday 10th May (11.00-12.00 CEST) for an online presentation about the monitoring of gambling engagement and problem gambling in Europe.

Margaret Carran of City, University of London will present the findings of a new study  “Monitoring gambling engagement and problem gambling prevalence within selected European jurisdictions”.

Of the jurisdictions surveyed, Malta, being a hub for the iGaming industry in Europe, was included.

The presentation will give insight into the similarities and differences of national approaches to problem gambling monitoring and reporting, including national survey methods and the screening tools used to measure problem gambling.
